Yankees Lose there lead in the AL East, and their cool as a team

So, it's never easy to take a 15-1 punch in the mouth loss like the Yankees did last night. Not to mention the lead in the AL East that was once 7 games. Not to mention the Bronx Bombers have had at least a share of first place since late June. The Blue Jays as many of you know went for blood at the trade deadline. David Price, Ben Revere, and Troy Tulowitzki are the 3 players that Toronto threw their farm system on. The moves have proven to be worth it so far. But for all the band wagoners just keep these few points in mind: The bullpen until recent was one of the worst pens in the league, Tulowitzki's troublesome knee is now on turf. The back end of that rotation is very shaky. Also when it comes time to expand the rosters in a few weeks, the Blue Jays will have very few players that can hold their own, while the starters get needed rest.

Now back to the Yankees problems that they need to fix ASAP. The starting rotation besides Edvaldi has been lack luster. This is a rotation that many including myself thought that would hold their own against good teams, especially when Nova came back. C.C. started to pitch well before he recently went on the DL. With Sabathia gone, the bombers did get good news as Michael Pineda came off the shelf today and started in this afternoons ballgame, which they lost. That puts them now a game and a half back of the Blue Jays. Next is the lineup, more specifically the top of the lineup. Ellsbury and Gardner need to be switched. The production Gardner gives them at the top, along with the explosiveness is something that Ellsburry can't give them. Gardner can also steal a base for the first time since early June. Lastly is the back end of the bullpen. They need to find a way to give those guys some rest going down the stretch so they can be primed for a deep playoff run. Of course with the roster expanding in a few days will help the situation.

As always like, comment, and share on your way out!
