BREAKING: Yoenis Cespedes signs with the New York Mets

Wow a lot of news is falling into place today. This is the signing that everyone was waiting for and anticipating for months now. The deal is worth seventy five million dollars over three years. There is an-opt out after the first year, there is also a no-trade clause. The first year is worth twenty seven and a half million dollars which is the most money annually for a player this season.
This was a most needed signing for the Mets. Cespedes is the guy that the Mets needed to anchor the middle of this order that is the most needed run producer that this team would have drastically missed. Cespedes while hold down Centerfield and give the Mets All-Star pitching staff the runs they desperately need.
The National League East is now a tossup and should be very fun to watch. Cespedes was the most popular free-agent this off-season and is being payed for his prime years and for what he did the second half of the year last season with the Mets. Cespedes hit thirty two home runs and one hundred and five RBI’s with a .290 between the Detroit Tigers and the Mets.
With Cespedes the Mets are a World Series contender and should expect nothing more, and the championship pedigree is now entering the other side of New York, even without winning a World Series.
