Westbrook returns, Kobe breaks another record, LeBron and company rolls on as Melo and New York proceed to rock bottom

What a weekend for the NBA! Russell Westbrook came back from injury after missing 14 games exploded for 32 points and 8 assists and 7 boards. The Knicks who looked flat and just have no rhythm on offense and its showing on the other end of the floor. Last night Carmelo Anthony snapped after the ref blew the whistle in his ear during an inbound play. Melo received a tech for the chatter after the play was over and to me it just is frustration that comes with being one of the worst teams in the league and the lesser in New York. Its ok Melo because you can go home and sleep on the cash thats coming out of Phil Jackson's pockets. For the Thunder with Westbrook coming back it gives this a glimmer of hope to make something of this season that has gotten off to a bad start. Maybe this will motivate them to do something or brick off the rim like all of the extra possessions that will be in Russell's hands. He takes about 7 or so more shots then KD, now that he is in a suit on the sidelines how will the Thunder's offense look? Will Westbrook look like an MVP candidate or just lower his career field goal percentage? Kobe on the other hand is just adding on to his Hall of Fame plaque as he broke another record last night in L.A. He is the first player in the history of the NBA with 31,000 points and 6,000 assists as he broke that mark in the 3rd with a assist to Wesley Johnson. Kobe who had a great night besides his record breaking night because he had 31 points 11 rebounds and 12 assists for a very nice triple double. With all that the Lakers beat a very impressive Toronto team who is leading the Eastern Conference. LeBron, K-Love and Kyrie showed a glimpse of what could be against the Pacers on Friday. If Paul George stayed healthy and didn't have that horrible compound fracture these would the 2 best teams in the East if not the whole league.

Don't forget to follow on your way out!
