The Color Blind Game, catch or no catch? Thursday/Sunday game balls

What a wild weekend of football. Once again football fans are reminded that the catch rule is a case by case rule instead of a pillar of the game, the injury bug strikes again, and black and white tv is relevant.
To start off on Thursday, about 8% of the American public could not watch the game. Not to do with any black outs or anything, but the color of the jerseys that the Bills and Jets had on. The Bills went with a very bright red almost orange color (jersey and pants) and the Jets had a bright christmasish green(jersey and pants). The problem with that as members of my family found out along with the other 8% that because of a persons red/green color blindness the players look like they are wearing grey jerseys and a red/green color blind person is basically looking at a black and white inter-squad practice. The New York Times put up a very nice picture of what it would look like for someone with this, and honestly it is almost impossible to tell who is who. Now what this was aimed to do from the NFL's perspective is jersey revenue and a publicity stunt to see if they could do this in the future. The can because I'm sure a ton of jerseys sold this past weekend, but they just need to stray away from any similar color teams, possibly put a team in all white. Now, onto the game ball... It was a mess in terms of the last few minutes of the ball game, and the whole going for it on 4th when your on the eleven yard line, to both teams missing opportunities that could have sealed the game. The Jets in my opinion had their opportunity and momentum necessary to possibly win on Thursday night, but lack of execution and miss tackles late were their demise. The Thursday game ball is Bacarri Rambo who had two tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception to help the Bills edge out a five point win in a very ugly game.

Sunday was truly impressive, Johnny Manziel continues his progression week to week, and continues to prove haters wrong. He threw for over three hundred yards and a TD. Odell Beckham Jr. is the most recent recipient of a "dropped" ball, and I can go on for hours how that was a catch. Belichick once again managed an incredible game. Arizona cemented their dominance in the NFC West, Minnesota proved they were for real in the NFC North, some how some way the Cowboys are still in the NFC North, Peyton might be pushed out the door due to injury, and we still have a game to go tonight in Cincinnati. My game ball from all this madness is Antonio Brown, who might possibly be the MVP this season. Brown once again had a game with over a hundred yards receiving. Brown had a hundred and thirty nine yards and two touchdowns. Brown is just dominating any defensive back that he faces and is even beating double coverage due to the fact that Martavis Bryant having a very good season.
