2016 Week 14 Thursday and Sunday game balls

Week 14 Thursday and Sunday Game balls
Really interesting weekend of football. From Stafford willing the Lions to yet another comeback win, to Le’Veon Bell torching the Bills in the snow, the Titans keeping their postseason hopes alive, and even Bryce Petty and the Jets having a comeback Overtime win. The Giants and Cowboys played a very sloppy game with the Giants pulling a 10-7 win out of nowhere.

Thursday Night was an odd football game. The Thursday Nighters have been for the entire season, but with the Raiders losing to the Chiefs in freezing temperatures it raises some eyebrows. The 2nd seed in the AFC now has some red flags that the weak AFC now has film of moving into the playoffs. I still believe that the Raiders can challenge the Patriots in a potential AFC Championship game, but I do have my concerns. Derek Carr didn’t look like himself at all, and showed that even a hopeful MVP candidate has some trouble in the cold. The Raiders defense did play well causing 2 turnovers but the Chiefs showed up and made the “experts” but into the Chiefs way of playing football. My Thursday game ball is Tyreek Hill for single handedly beat Oakland. I don’t like Hill as a person and I don’t know anyone who would, but he is an incredible football. Hill had 6 receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. Hill also delivered the knockout punch the 78-yard punt return on a re-kick.

I would be committing a crime if I didn’t have Le’Veon Bell as my Sunday Game ball. Bell in the snow in Buffalo had 298 combined yards with 3 rushing touchdowns. Bell made the Bills defense look like a Division II defense. It was a snow game but Bell looked like he was playing a game in San Diego in the middle of October. Bell keeps the Steelers hopes alive for the playoffs in the AFC and makes Pittsburgh a legit dark horse to get to the Superbowl with the way the offense played. Hopefully tonight can exceed the craziness that happened yesterday. We will see; don’t miss the Ravens and Patriots tonight at 8:30EST on ESPN.
