2016 Week 6 Sunday game ball
Week 6 Sunday Game ball
Good weekend of football
that included Brady returning home, the Browns losing a heart breaker, a great
comeback by Houston at home and Big Ben going down for now. The Jets didn’t
play and are in Arizona tonight trying to save their season. Jay Ajayi had a
career game going for two hundred and four yards and two touchdowns against a
Big Ben-less Pittsburgh Steelers. Lamar Miller in Houston had two hundred yards
combined with both a rushing and receiving touchdowns and helped will the
Texans back to life against the rival Colts. For Indianapolis they have now
fell to 2-4 and their season is pretty much over. Andrew Luck has graduated to
the Philip Rivers caliber type of player where they need to find a better team
than he is currently on. Luck played well throwing for two hundred and
fifty-two yards a touchdown and a pick, while adding fifty-three yards on the
ground with a score.
Moving on to my game
ball, which happened to participate in a game winning play on Sunday and helped
his team regain life in their division. With all the close good games that
there was on Sunday, the Giants and Ravens game was really exciting. Odell
Beckham Jr. had a career game getting eight balls for two hundred and
twenty-two yards and two scores. Both of his touchdowns were sixty plus yards’ scores.
Both scores also included some interesting dances and antics after the fact. The
first score that was a seventy-five yards, Beckham did his triple jump
touchdown dance routine and didn’t get a flag. After he went to the sideline,
he went over to the kicking net and hugged it again. His second TD was the game
winning score and after he score, Beckham immediately took off his helmet which
costed the Giants fifteen yards. Not only that but Beckham had the fantastic
idea of proposing to the kicking net. If you haven’t heard the kicking net and
Odell Beckham Jr. have an interesting relationship. Week 3 Beckham slammed his
helmet against the kicking net. Two weeks later in Green Bay, Beckham scored
his first touchdown of the season and went over and hugged the net. Than what
happened this week. This net is the conjuring of the media and the storm that
the New York media can create. I honestly think this whole net thing is
ridiculous but I am not mad about that. I am mad about the fifteen-yard penalty
that almost cost the Giants the game. Joe Flacco threw a ball into the end zone
and fortunately for the Giants the ball fell to the turf. As I have said in the
NY 500 this week that Beckham can just take over a game without anything
anybody can do. Energy and emotion is a great thing to play off of, but you
CANNOT I repeat CANNOT get penalties in crunch time and take the air almost out
of the team. I have said before and I will say it again you have to keep your
emotions in check until you get to the sideline. Do your one dance and hand the
ball to the official. I like the way you play until you step over the line. I am
so conflicted with this whole situation with him. I can’t keep thinking about
this, so this will be the last time I answer this question.
