Day 44

Fresh Start_44: Just sit down
If you haven’t seen by now, a fan in last night Wild Card game in Toronto last night threw a full beer at Baltimore Orioles left fielder Hyun-Soo Kim in the seventh inning last night. Since the throwing of the alcoholic beverage—which had to be expensive, especially since it is the playoffs and it is a packed stadium. I have gone to my fair share of Yankee games this season and I have had fun, not with alcohol of course, but I have seen people having a good time drinking. Never have I ever seen anyone throw a beer onto the field. The first reason I would think is because of how expensive the beer is at a baseball, but also you would think that the fan would get escorted out of the stadium. The problem with this, is the fact that the stadium was stuffed to the gills last night and it is impossible to find the culprit of the chucking of the Budweiser.
My two cents to this inappropriate fan who just happened to ruin the game for the rest of the fans in his section is, just sit the hell down and enjoy the game. If your team scores or makes a great play, get up and dance or high five your buddy. BUT, do not throw a beer from a hundred plus feet and in danger a player because you are just angry that your team didn’t score. I have gone to many terrible Yankee losses, and a bunch of great Yankee games. I am not throwing my hot dog onto the field or chucking the Pepsi I get everywhere. The fans actions last night ruined the integrity of the fans of baseball and the fans of Toronto. Hopefully that will change, and us as a baseball fan base and family can enjoy the rest of the postseason.
