Fresh Start­_93: The Golden Knights of Hockey are over
Really… the Golden Knights? The Las Vegas Golden Knights are the newest franchise in the NHL. The 31st team in the National Hockey League resides in Vegas and will be named the Golden Knights. Now, the logo may be subject to change based on how similar to the Army Knights logo, the Spartan Race logo, and Call of Duty streamer Nick Merks logo.

This idea was fouled from the beginning and I cannot believe that a team is being based out of Las Vegas. In a city that everything stays in, brings challenges to the sports world that nobody two years ago thought would exist. The NFL has toyed with idea of bringing a team to the city and when they see the dumpster fire that will be the Golden Knights, the NFL will stay away from Vegas. The distractions that the glitz and glamor of Vegas brings to the Golden Knights and opposing players every single day of the season.

The fans will just be gambling degenerates and bookies that have ungodly amounts of money on the games. The NHL is going to cut their losses at some point for this pick, because this will be the biggest mistake in sports history. With other markets like Seattle, Toronto, Hartford, and Vancouver all looking for teams and attractable markets that would have suited the NHL and the younger fan base more than the current city that the Golden Knights are housed.

This whole movement to Vegas seems rushed, just like a drunk Vegas wedding. The move was fast and unprepared and I don’t think the NHL is aware of what they have done, and quite frankly fell asleep at the wheel. This team gives the NHL an odd number of teams and have no expansion partner and will screw the worst team in the NHL by automatically getting the number 1 overall pick the next year’s draft. They will most likely host an All-Star game in the near future and that will be the biggest event in this franchises history.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights will fail and I will go all in on this team failing and it will have the same hangover that an NFL team has after the Superbowl. This team will be a great disappointment and will cost the NHL millions and the league will have to take a real hard look at themselves when they think about expanding again. This team will collapse just like the Nassau Coliseum is currently doing in Long Island. This just will not work period end of story.

The Question going into the Trade Deadline for the New York Yankees

  There is a crossroads in the Bronx in between River and 161 st Street right now. As New York Yankee Manager Aaron Boone likes to put it “[the season] is right in front of them.” The second half of the season is for the taking. As we move into the dog days of summer the Bronx Bombers are nine games out of the division and now a game and a half out of the AL Wild Card race following a disappointing first series in Colorado. With that, the historic starting Tampa Bay Rays have cooled off, going 3-7 before the break while showing signs of being mortal. The Answer for the Mets

  As Yogi Berra would say “it’s déjà vu all over again.” Buck Showalter is an all too familiar place. The 67-year-old manager has taken a time machine back to 2012. No, he is not managing in Baltimore anymore, however that’s what it feels like the end of Showalter’s Oriole tenure in Queens right now. The Mets simply can’t get out of their own way. With Pete Alonso likely headed to the Injured List, the Mets scored 10 runs last night in Atlanta. 10 runs on the heels of back-to-back gut-wrenching losses at the hands of the team that has foiled the Mets for the better part of almost three decades, the Atlanta Braves. 10 runs with their hired ace, Justin Verlander, who was looking to put together good starts consecutively for the first time all season.
