Fresh Start_98: Pray for Ohio State
THIS NEEDS TO STOP! All of these senseless acts of violence needs to come to an end. There was a stabbing incident on the Ohio State campus today and 10 people were sent to the hospital. The attacker is reported dead and no name has been released of who the assailant was, but I believe it was an Ohio State student. Even if there was a name out in the media, I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting the name of the assailant out on my blog. I don’t like that some of these people do these sorts of things just to get there 15 minutes of fame.

With the stabbing on the OSU campus happening today and with every attack on a college campus, campuses everywhere need to respond in a way to make sure that the possibly of an attack accruing on their campus is as slime as possible. The campus now needs all the prayers and love as possible and we need to send our support to every Ohio State student, but we also need to look forward.

With the presidency of Donald Trump looming over the country and at the end of the day inevitable, we as a country need to come together. There has been nothing said about the motive of the attacker, and the results of the presidency is not a farfetched motive, but that doesn’t change the fact that it happened. With one of the worst summers as far as violence in the history of the country, the country needs to have a serious look in the mirror and stop the violence on every front. Nothing gets settled with these acts of violence, it just makes the suffering and sadness hurt more. We need to find a way to stop all of this. Whether we need to bolster the gun laws and make it harder to get a gun, or monitor our police, I don’t really know. I am hopeful that people will come around and this will stop, but with every stabbing and shooting we take a step back and make either side of the argument even stronger.

I honestly don’t understand it, and I wasn’t planning on writing something like this today, but because a worthless piece of human garbage decided to punch his ticket to hell and become a weapon to the peace movement to the country that I live in. The United States is the best country in the world, and we need to start to act like it. At this point, it is almost a daily occurrence and again THIS SHXT NEEDS TO STOP! I honestly can’t stand people doing this, and if they are mentally ill, make sure that they find help, and as a country we need to make an effort to stop things like this and get the people help, before these acts happen, and there is suffering for people. We need to take a moment today and stop and pray for the country and the entire campus of Ohio State.

The Question going into the Trade Deadline for the New York Yankees

  There is a crossroads in the Bronx in between River and 161 st Street right now. As New York Yankee Manager Aaron Boone likes to put it “[the season] is right in front of them.” The second half of the season is for the taking. As we move into the dog days of summer the Bronx Bombers are nine games out of the division and now a game and a half out of the AL Wild Card race following a disappointing first series in Colorado. With that, the historic starting Tampa Bay Rays have cooled off, going 3-7 before the break while showing signs of being mortal. The Answer for the Mets

  As Yogi Berra would say “it’s déjà vu all over again.” Buck Showalter is an all too familiar place. The 67-year-old manager has taken a time machine back to 2012. No, he is not managing in Baltimore anymore, however that’s what it feels like the end of Showalter’s Oriole tenure in Queens right now. The Mets simply can’t get out of their own way. With Pete Alonso likely headed to the Injured List, the Mets scored 10 runs last night in Atlanta. 10 runs on the heels of back-to-back gut-wrenching losses at the hands of the team that has foiled the Mets for the better part of almost three decades, the Atlanta Braves. 10 runs with their hired ace, Justin Verlander, who was looking to put together good starts consecutively for the first time all season.
