Last Sunday game ball of 2016

Last Sunday game ball of the season
In a non-interesting week of football, somehow it became extremely interesting. The Jets actually won in a game that didn’t mean anything. Tony Romo got into the game and threw a touchdown pass, while losing a meaningless game. The Steelers almost lost resting The Killer B’s. The Raiders fell off the face of the earth with a terrible loss to the Denver Broncos. Aaron Rodgers looked like himself again in a much needed win to go into the playoffs. Stafford put up a great game but turned the ball over more time than Rodgers did, and that was one of the down falls of that game.

Getting into the last game ball of the year, it has to be Green Bay’s signal caller Aaron Rodgers. After a terrible first 9 weeks, Rodgers rallied his team to run the table and win the division. I was calling for Mike McCarthys’ job a month ago, and now they are the NFC North Champs. Rodgers in a playoff extension game had 300 even yards with 4 touchdowns, while adding 42 yards on 10 carries on the ground. Rodgers did Rodgers things in that game and looked like the best QB in the league. This win gives the Packers a much needed swagger headed into the playoffs, while also giving the cheese heads a playoff game. It has been a decent year of football at best, and I am looking forward to the playoffs and next years’ football.
