Day 31

Fresh Start_31: An Answer to question never asked
As we are getting ready for Week 3 NFL fans around the country are having a huge mix bag of feelings. If you are in New England it is a calm sense of panic. I don’t think you can’t panic after Jimmy Garoppolo went down with a sprained AC Joint in this right shoulder. I personally know how uncomfortable the injury is—having the same injury in my left shoulder during swim season early in the year. Garoppolo says that he can’t move his right shoulder due to the injury and the Patriots camp want Garoppolo to play through the injury because Brady has played through the injury on multiple occasions. This move is not like the New England Patriots and shows that even the team in New England is human and panic with a rookie quarterback with four days to prepare for a stout defense. Julian Edelman has taken snaps under center this week which is not that surprising due to the fact that Edelman played quarterback in college. It will be interesting to see if Edelman takes snaps under center and see if he has any pass attempts. As of now Jacoby Brissett is the starting quarterback for the Patriots.
Bill Belichick has to be at least sweating under the cutoff hoody for this week against the Houston Texans and J.J. Watt licking his lips at the idea of facing a third string quarterback who has drafted in the third round this past April. You I don’t think you should bet against the Patriots in any week because of Belichick because he might just be the best coach in the history of the league. But this week it has to be nice for fans that don’t route for the Patriots to see that the evil empire has a little down fall for at least one week. It has to be curious how much talent Brissett has when the Pats almost lost against Miami in a close seven-point win. As a Jet fan I am overjoyed not for the injury of Garoppolo but for the downfall to happen. It was enviable and was going to happen at some point when Brady retired, but this is a nice look ahead for a Jet fan. I am disappointed that the Jets don’t play New England at any point during the Brady suspension. I am intrigued to see what the master game plan for the Pats and see if the defense can stop Lamar Miller and DeAndre Hopkins, and if the offense of course can score points and win the game. If Brissett plays well it will truly be a work of God and will for sure start up the conspiracy theorists in the NFL fan bases. Be sure to watch on CBS, the NFL mobile app, or on Twitter at 8:30PM EST tonight!
